Parties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Attorney-at-law Charles Navarro and Attorney-at-law Philippe Maridor are both admitted to the Bar and registered in the Register of Attorneys of the Canton of Fribourg. As such, they are authorised to practise law throughout Switzerland pursuant to the Federal Act on the Free Movement of Lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>By using the online legal advisory service of Navarro Maridor Law Firm (hereinafter: the \u201cService\u201d), the user (hereinafter: the \u201cClient(s)\u201d) simultaneously enters into a contractual relationship with Navarro Avocats LLC and\/or Mr. Philippe Maridor (hereinafter: the \u201cFirm\u201d).<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">2. Clients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Service is available to all natural and legal persons. Natural persons must be of legal age and have full legal capacity.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">3. Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Firm offers the Client online legal advice exclusively in the following areas of Swiss law: criminal law, automotive law, road traffic law and debt enforcement law.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain the Service, the Client may submit one or more questions with a strict maximum of 2\u2019000 characters in total. Upon receipt of the Client\u2019s request and payment, the Firm will provide its response within two business days.<\/p>\n<p>The Service is entirely digital. No correspondence, document review or administrative or preparatory meetings are conducted in connection with the Service.<\/p>\n<p>Any person who does not feel able to use the Service independently is invited to attend the Firm in person by prior appointment.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">4. Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Service is provided at a flat fee of CHF 30.\u2013 including VAT.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">5. Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To properly use the Service, the Client undertakes to comply strictly with the following procedure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>provide personal details;<\/li>\n<li>upload a copy of a valid identification document;<\/li>\n<li>submit the question(s) within the 2\u2019000-character limit;<\/li>\n<li>pay the Service fee online using the available payment methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">6. Conflict of Interest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If providing the Service gives rise to a conflict of interest, the Firm will inform the Client accordingly. In such case, the Client is entitled to a refund of the Service fee. No other refunds shall be granted.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">7. Limitations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Firm will not provide the Service if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Client acts anonymously or under a false identity;<\/li>\n<li>the question falls outside the scope of these General Terms;<\/li>\n<li>the question is not legal in nature or violates standards of decency;<\/li>\n<li>answering the question could constitute a criminal offence or expose the Firm to civil or criminal liability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In such cases, the request will not be processed, and the Client shall not be entitled to any refund. The Service fee shall remain fully due to the Firm.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">8. New Requests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any new request, whether supplementary or additional, entails a new procedure and a full new charge.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">9. Disclaimer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Communications with the Firm in connection with the Service are conducted electronically, including via third-party service providers located abroad. Electronic communications are not fully secure. There is a risk that unauthorised third parties may access or alter emails or that messages may not reach their intended recipients. The Client is informed that certain authorities do not recognise electronic correspondence as being protected by the attorney-client privilege.<\/p>\n<p>The Client accepts these risks and agrees not to hold the Firm liable for any interception, access, redirection, copying or alteration of emails or attachments.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">10. Data Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Firm stores data in electronic form. The Client consents to such storage, whether within the Firm\u2019s own systems or those of external service providers in Switzerland or abroad. The Firm is entitled to delete the data ten years after the Service has been provided.<\/p>\n<p>The data protection policy available on the Firm\u2019s website forms an integral part of these General Terms. Should the Client wish the Firm to take specific measures to secure data, the Client must notify the Firm in writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">11. Professional Secrecy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Service is in principle subject to attorney-client privilege pursuant to Article 13 of the Federal Act on the Free Movement of Lawyers. However, the Client is informed that certain questions may concern matters to which the attorney-client privilege does not apply. It is the Client\u2019s responsibility to ensure that the Service is covered by the attorney-client privilege.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">12. Complaints<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any complaints regarding the Service must be sent to the Firm by registered mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">13. Amendments<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Firm reserves the right to review and amend these General Terms at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on the Firm\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">14. Jurisdiction and Governing Law<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The place of jurisdiction is Fribourg (City).
